In addition to developing a customized scorecard for each customer to evaluate the performance of Heartland Information Services, we are rated annually by KLAS^®, an independent research firm (www.KLASresearch.com).

In their report, Top 20 Best in KLAS Awards: Software and Professional Services for 2008, Heartland placed second out of 12 ranked outsourced transcription companies, moving up from third the previous year. In the KLAS 2008 MTSO Study (a separate report focused solely on outsourced medical transcription), Heartland’s performance ranked the highest for indicators of Lived Up to Expectations, Real Problem Resolution, Services Delivered as Promoted, Service Delivery on Time and Contracting Experience.

KLAS has been rating professional services firms since 2004, utilizing a strict three-step process to collect candid performance data. This process includes collecting direct product evaluations completed by healthcare provider organizations, performing in-depth interviews with IT executives and directors to pinpoint the strengths and weaknesses of each business, and performing an extensive internal audit to verify the accuracy of the information.
