Heartland works constantly to improve medical transcription technologies to enhance ease-of-use, efficiency, accuracy and rapid report delivery.

By partnering with M*Modal, Heartland is currently integrating a back-end speech recognition process into GEMSTAR™. The partnership will increase Heartland’s scalable capacity by further improving our medical transcriptionists’ productivity and efficiency – bringing you even higher levels of customer service, responsiveness and quality.

The next phase of the partnership will include a front-end solution for physicians to dictate and edit their own documents, or choose to click and send to a transcriptionist to complete the report.

Our automated speech recognition in both the front-end and back-end solutions will provide tagged data. These identified data elements provide an effective means of capturing dictation for efficient utilization in medical documentation.
